BARCAPPELLA!

Everybody can sing, and we’re on a mission to prove it!

Saturday, 10 November 2018 from 3pm to 5pm
Sunday, 11 November 2018 at 3pm
198 Ponsonby Road, Auckland, New Zealand 1010
$30 per adult, for the two sessions
Bring extra $ for the bar!

Pack yourself into Little Easy with like-minded strangers, learn a song in 4-part harmony in 2 hours, perform it twice, and if the publishing Gods are smiling, have it immortalised in video forever.

No auditions. No solos.  No long-term commitments. NO WORRIES!

Music belongs to everybody.  So grab a beer, relax, and simply open your sound-hole (your mouth, FYI). It’s rowdy, wholesome, and so much damn fun. Barcappella has been created by Music Director Extraordinaire David Tillinghast.

We’ll meet at 3.00pm on Saturday 10 November for two hours at Little Easy in Ponsonby (cash bar open), where David will teach one song in four-part harmony.  On Sunday the 11th,  we will return at the same time to record it for YouTube (and posterity).  We will be accompanied by a keyboard.

This is a free for all — You don’t have to be in a choir or feel that you can sing to join in,  so bring your husbands, wives, partners and friends for a couple of afternoons of musical fun!

Numbers are limited by space,  so please click Going on the Barcappella Facebook event if you are coming.

If you would like to a preview of what this event may be like, please check out these two videos.

The first is a tribute to the late Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries.
